OVERVIEW

Revenue Cycle Management is a critical aspect for Health Centers.  Staff that play a role in the Revenue Cycle must be involved in order to put change in motion to enable a healthy revenue cycle.  In order to do this, staff must understand the importance of each departments role.  For leadership, it is important to know how to hire and manage employees.  Just as important is knowing what goes on in each department that plays a role in the revenue cycle.  What drives the data?  Are staff properly trained?  Do staff know the role they play in the Revenue Cycle?  What day to day activities make up the data that are on the reports you run or receive?  Areas discussed will include: Front Office, Provider Enrollment, Providers Locking Charts, Billing and working AR, Training and Communication, Setting Realistic productivity goals.

Earning the Revenue Cycle Management Certification (RH-RCMS)

    • Upon completion of the online training attendees will be able to take the 85 question online certification examination.  The exam is scored immediately and if a score of 70% is achieved, a certification ofRural Health Revenue Cycle Management  Specialist (RH-RCMS) will be granted by ArchProCoding
